I had both of my hips replaced due to arthritis on 04 July 2017 at the age of 48. Thanks to my NHS surgeon, nurses and physiotherapists, and a fab partner at home, I made a good recovery - and I developed a love of walking. But it is time to step up my distances, set a new goal & meet the challenge before I’m 50!
So I am walking the marathon in memory of a friend who died of breast cancer last year. I was inspired by the work of Walk the Walk when I read about its founder and fund raising events recently. It made me want to raise money by participating in The MoonWalk London 2019.
To date, the charity has granted in excess of £10 million to over 200 NHS Trusts.
Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about Walk the Walk, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family.
Thank you in advance for your donation, I am very grateful!!
Love Bish xx
